About Us: Shane Edwards

With well over a dozen years of experience in the fitness industry, Shane Edwards is an accomplished personal trainer whose focus is on helping his clients live better. Shane first discovered the benefits of training and fitness when he was studying for his BS in psychology. He noticed that the hours he spent riding his bike over the hills of Michigan always gave him the physical and mental boost he needed. That is when he first realized that physical health and mental well-being are inextricably linked, a belief he keeps in the forefront of his mind when training clients today.

As an avid outdoor cyclist, Shane found himself drawn to Spinning as a way to merge his interest in biking with his love for music. He became a certified Spinning instructor in 1997. He became an ACE-certified personal trainer two years later, in addition to getting certified as a USA Cycling Expert Coach. Since 2001, Shane has been working full time as a personal trainer and has added NASM, Pilates, and Kettlebells to his long list of certifications.  Shane’s professional accomplishments and his broad experience working with hundreds of clients over the years make him a versatile trainer. 

Shane believes that mental well-being goes hand-in-hand with physical fitness and he takes a holistic approach to being fit and healthy. Therefore, he understands the importance of creating training programs that are tailored to the needs of the individual.
